Sorry if these are obvious... but I'm not the brightest child in the world  Okay, how do you put a picture in your signature? I tried a URL and then a URL with the img=src thingo/html (the proper one, i took that from the top of my head). But it didn't work? My other question is how do yuo get onto the password protected message boards? I tried using my password, and then my activation number/key thing...? Thanks, Lisa |

to get onto the password protected boards youve gotta do a certain amount of posts, and i think join a guild (at least for the guild boards) and then the mods will provide you with the appropriate passwords

the code for images is [ img ] then the url....u have to have it to a server like photobucket or sometihng..... (obviously with out hte spaces)...and u dont need to join a guild to get into the password areas (Well except for the guild ones) ...u jsut need to ahvea minimun of 20 (or 50) posts (i forget which) and prove ur not some stalker person  (to do that u dont need to do anythin special...just let ur self be known to a few ppl and htey can recomend u and one of the MoO's will send u a pm with the password)...
and dont worry no question is obvious!

I posted like 600 times before I finally asked for the password to the protected board. I took me ages to figure out why my password wouldn't work!!

exactly! its that thats most improtant....not the quantity...that was jsut there to imply u have to be a round for a little while so ppl get to no who u are...but since those boards have personal info ull need to gain trust to get there...
sorry that sounds a little harsh...but yea jsut tryin to say its not based on post count entierly!

Okay... another question! Ummm, why am I suddenly in a guild? I mean, in the profile page you have a selection of what guild, don't you? And I chose 'no guild yet' (or something to that effect) and now it says I'm in Dreamweavers... Does that mean I am? Or I accidently selected it... I didn't get a notification email or anything...

You're on the Ober.net guild list as a Dreamweaver, so you've been put into the Dreamweavers here too. If this is a mistake, let us know and we'll take you off the list. |

YAY! I'm in a guild. I just get confused easily.
Does that mean I can get into the Dreamweavers boards? Or do I need to waite to be sent the password?

The Guardians are the moderators of the board. They can sort out any problems, edit/delete any posts, etc.
Things liek Gypsy, guildmember etc, are the ranks. When you achieve a certain amoutn of posts, you are upgraded in rank to the next one. so you gom from gypsy to guildmember, etc
