That's right... my biggest obsession surfaces. Favourite characters, episodes, quotes, theories, things that should have been different, anything!!! LOL. Well, firstly my favourite character would have to be Xander... he's the funniest and the most normal. Place, he looses his eye, so props for that. Also, that speech he gives Dawn in.... ummm, Potential (Season 7) is soooo touching. Favourite episode? Fear, Itself. Because it's funny, and it has Oz in it And.... Tabula Rasa. Also funny and interesting how the characters thought they related, and their views on what was going on when they lost their memories. I will feel like such a loser if no one replies (hint, hint) ~Lisa

you shouldn't, there are plenty of Buffy obsessives here- go to favourite quotes board and there's prob a thread about it.
it's a great show- i love the first season as it has all of the teenagy like issues (like the one about the invisable girl trying to kill cordelia). i can't think of my fave episode tho character would prob be willow and Oz- coz they were so sweet together ;D

I think for me it has to be the last 3 episodes of Season 7. All the sweet Spike and Buffy moments! Yeah, Spike is my favourite character. James Marsters is going to be at Buffy Convention this year and I wont be here for it (also, I don't have $250 to spare ) I really only got really in to watching Buffy in Seasons 6 and 7 when they were on TV. Since then, I've been slowly trying to see all the episodes that I've missed (greatly assisted by FOX8's SlayerFest days). But, I can't share the liking Oz thing, because thats that's all the episodes that I haven't seen yet

I love Buffy! I used to be one of those people who'd laugh at those who were obsessed with it, but then, one day, after the series finished, I sat down and watched an episode. It was love at first site My fav characters are Andrew, Jonathon, Oz, Xander and I had a slight best freaking character ever obsession with Spike I was dying to go to the Ghost of the Robot concert, but they split before it happened My fav eps are Once More With Feeling, The Gift, Chosen (cried ) I almost fell out of my chair when i heard there might be a Spike movie coming up, but it seems that idea has been scrapped

i hadn't heard of a Spike movie. They were supposed to be doing a combined Buffy/Angle movie, but Sarah Michelle Geller didn't want to do it. The Buffy animated series is the next thing we've got to look forward to.

I was in love with Oz, so so much.... why did have to leave??? SO sad... I cry EVERY time!!! I started watching Buffy in season 5, but then my friend didn't tape the last episode for me so I stopped... and then all these people on the internet were talking about it last year, so I vowed to watch every episode. And I did. And I now have the DVDs (JB let me by them for only $20 each ) and magazines... so obsessive. Spike was also very cool. I love how he always knew what was going on... I'm actually watching Angel now, it is so bad compared to Buffy... actually, it's just bad. But it sucks you in, you know?

My best friend and I actually went to the Buffy Con last year, James Masters was at that one too. He was reall ygenerous with his time too, wantign to talk to everyoen, and his peopel were tryign to hurry him through everything.

Ah, Spike. How I love thee and thy dry Englishness.
One of the greatest moments of my sad fangirl life was the final scene of "Once More With Feeling" when Buffy and Spike finally kissed! Hurrah!!!
Once More With Feeling is definitely my favourite episode. I love the whole 2nd season though with Spike and the oh so evilness of Angel! He was much cooler when he was evil! And Drusilla is so crazy. I love her whackiness.
And Eth, fear not, for I love Tara. I like Tara much more than Oz (although I like Oz). My favourite original Scooby however, is Xander. Yay the Xanderness!!!
Actually, I just like them all (except not Dawn so much)

Tara irritated me to no end!! Gah!! What a god awful actress! Namby pamby weakling little thing..... sorry, i know, i just can't handle Tara! Never have been able to. Weak willed women irritate me to no end.....
I don't mind Angel, it's not as good as Buffy, but it does have some good moments. I always like Caudy, and Wesley, especially when they were taking the p!ss out of Angel
But, yes, Evil Angel was soooo much better, though it has been a very long time since i've seen the earlier seasons... one of these days i'll get around to it again.
But i love Anya! Fluffy Bunnies!!! tehe! cracks me up all the time
But out of the original scoobies i would have to say i'm a Xander girl. He's just brilliant in his goofiness.... it's all good!
They've been talking about doing a mini series on it all, taking a few of the characters and showing what happened to them afterwards and whatever. I know They were pretty keen on doing Giles and Spike stories.... i suppose we have to wait until he get's Serenity done before he moves onto anythign else.... can't wait for Serenity!!

How is Tara weak-willed? She's very strong willed, actually. Look at her decision to leave Willow, for example. TOTALLY not weak-willed. Just nice.

I felt she got stronger over the course of the series - which I thought was a realistic role model. She was kinda timid at the start, btu that was explained in 'Family'. And she eventually overcame her old insecurities. I agree with Kayt. Leavign Willow, even though she still loved her took strength.

I'd heard about them doing a mini-series on Giles, possibly called 'Ripper'. Anthony Stuart-Head and Joss Wedon were in talks with the BBC about it. Everyone was very interested in it, but it's all gone quiet so i don't know if its happening. If i find out any more, i'll let you know.

I couldnt stand Dawn and Tara either! It seems that in every second scene Dawn is screaming or being rescued And Tara, well, she just plain annoyed the hell out of me I like the evil Angel too How does he always suddenly appear wearing leather pants? Yay! A giles mini-series! I love Anthony Stewart Head oh so much Greeeeat voice too

He has a CD of songs out too. Don't know if it's out in Aus, but you shoudl be able to order it from Amazon.
I think Dawn got stronger as the series progressed. You have to remember that the rest of the cast had their characters set down over many years. Dawns character just appeared, but was meant to be already established. I think Michelle Trattenburg (Sp?) did well with a difficult role!

Yeah, I think Tara was really shy (not weak willed) in the beginning. But because if Willow she became so much stronger. Yes, I love in Angel when Cordy and Wesley are bagging him, lol. I loved the scene when they were re-enacting how Buffy and Angel together to Fred! But I hate how they killed off Doyle, he was my favourtie chracter... and him and Cordy? And I miss Cordelia's old apartment... but then she went all evil. (Don't tell me what happens to her, I'm just up to season 5). I like Angel, I just guess in comparison to Buffy it's so much worse. Wesley's my favourite character in Angel! I liked when Buffy stabbed him through the heart Angel is definitely my least favourite character.

Sorry, I didn;t ralize there were two pages!
I would LOVE a mini-series. But all I've heard about is a cartoon. Which would be entertaining... but not as good as a mini-series.
Also, about Dawn. She was annoying for most of Buffy, but in the 7th season I think she got better... With all the potentials hanging around, I think she handled it well.
Has anyone got the Sunnydale Year Book thing? I want a Buffy book, but I can't find it anywhere, so I don't know if it's any good. Is it?
