I'll have a look...though I use flash, I firmly believe it's the biggest internet fad in the world and due to Microsoft removing the flash player from the IE install, I think it's most definately going to be used less and less over time...*does warding off sign to flash* Ok back. It's neat, simple and has some contrast, and I'm guessing that you'll have a bit of interactivity in flash? Do you have the .swf file posted for viewing? But from what I see (and read in your description) it would do it's job

You mean we don't have Flash yet?!
Grrrrr.... Must get onto that brother. I thought he said he installed this! (We recently rebuilt the computer and installed a new harddrive) Not happy, Jan!

It now being used in many of the animation used for puplic dispaly also can be used to generate interesting looking vector graphics. Just because it mostly used for little private game animations... Also there is an section below the image titled 'Additional Downloads' in there is link to the 2 versions one blue the other orange.

I'm not happy about Adobe aquiring Macromedia!
To get any adobe updates you have to trawl throught their site, whereas Macromedia make it easy.
Adobe took over another company we used a while ago. They made sound editing software called Cool Edit Pro. Adobe purchased them and changed it to Adobe Audition, which is exactly the same software with a new front end and costs twice as much!

I can't stand Adobe products. They drive me insane. The only half-way decent thing they've ever produced was the Acrobat Reader. @ Adobe I had a look at your project, ShadowOutcast, and it works very nicely indeed. The only thing I'd suggest is to have the subject of each link already on or near the boxes, otherwise it could drive people insane, trying to remember which box links to which page. (Try this link for more details on this sort of website navigation.) You could perhaps consider putting faded text where your text will eventually appear, or something like that. But it's a nice, simple design and it's rather effective.

When the mouse rolls over it the linking name appears visa-versa when you roll out the name dissappears EDIT: I looked at the examples (mines not that bad is it?) and I think I'll place a button the will show whats what in the final versons. I must say that some of the example sites were really bad

No, it's not bad at all, good Shadow Outcast. It's a very nice design and certainly not at all like some of the sites you see on that link. But some sort of hint as to what the link is would help immensely.

A loader has been added also some coding bugs have been fixed (like when the ball from the server is still running when the home page is loaded). Click the links below to check it out. JUST ADDED. I now have more test content for the project section. The images now all preload before they show up. Now I just got broadband but would like some one with a dial-up connection to test it out and see how long it takes to load...
Thanks
Oh and use the links in the previous posts
