When is the Sneding coming????

Is it just me or do i seem to distinctly remember being told by reliable source (i.e. Obernewtyn.net) that the Sneding which I have been wiating for for half my life was coming out in Oct 2006? Well here it is Dec 2006 and no Sneding in sight- seriously I thought the official release date was october- where is it. I am I destined to become old and infirm before I get to read it-
