IC came to my school! Yay!

Hey everyone!
I needed somewhere to talk some more about IC coming to my school coz all my friends are sick of it (how could they?) and I didn't know where else to say it.
My mum nearly didn't let me go *gasp* because I have glandular fever which REALLY sucks!!!! But I came for just the afternoon, just to see her. And it was hell sitting through History and English, I felt like I was gonna faint but it was all worth it coz I got to see her! Yay! And even though she dodged answering my question about when The Sending and Darkbane are coming out (she'll start Darkbane soon and The Sending is really fat atm) with the skill of a politician it was great! And she signed my copy of Darksong which is really cool! And she talked about her childhood and her family and the Monster Game and her books and skills she has learnt as a writer and...and...(i'm hyperventilating now) it was awesome! And she spoke to me! Yay! It's like...meeting the queen or something...except way, way cooler. And she told me that the cover on my copy of Darksong was her favourite but she didn't like the photo of her inside it (i don't really either, she's much prettier in real life). Anyway I should stop ranting about the best day of my year (perhaps my life) and stop procrastinating. I have to finish a history essay. You'd think when you have glandular fever they'd give you a break but NO! Anyway it was awesome and I thank anyone who actually listened to my rant (well, read) as my friends would have been sick of it by the time I started hyperventalting. Wait...I just have to say it one more time!

Yeah, I wanted to think of a really intelligent question to aske apart from when is The Sending and Darkbane coming out but it didn't work...and everyone else were saying intelligent things like what was the question u were trying to evoke in people's minds with Billy Thunder? coz she was talking about how there were questions in every book...and everyone was askign intelligent questions coz i go to a selective school and they're all super intelligent...anyway...lol

It sounds like you had a lot of fun, even though you were sick. And she's pretty, isnt she? Ive never met her before and all these people who have are really bugging me *turns green* and its horrible. I didnt think she'd reveal too much though because if she would then we would allready know lol

Thanks for health wishes everyone...still not better and dont know when I will be...stupid school work is piling up...its only year 10 you'd think they'd give us a break...yeah, I didn't really think she'd reveal much to me when EVERYONE wants to know but it was worth a try...one of the best days of my life definately of this month ive just been lying in bed lol...

LOL!!! That's so AWESOME!
That's a problem I have too, I remember thinking of great in-depth questions before I met her, then when you actually do, it's so exciting all you can sputter out is "OMG lyk your books are so fantastic"...hehehe.
Did she answer any other questions for you?
