Why is your best friend, your best friend?

well i knew my best friend was my best friend for some reason but now i really know why

shes in america at the moment for a year or so and im here in tas so well we dont get to see each other much and for my birthday this year i realised why she is my best friend. and well for my present she got me some little stuff and then the massive things was she got me a manuscript for tamora pierces new book called 'beka cooper' and whoa if that wasnt enoug hshe got it SIGNED for me and well that for me was freakin awesome cause tamora pierce is my fav author and yeah my bestie isnt much of a reader so it was a freakin awesome present and knocked my socks off and made me realise even though she dont liek readin books like me and stuff she knows me well enough to know what i love to death and yeah got it for me even whens she on the other side of the world and dont like it


so it got me thinking why is your best friend your best friend?

hmmmm hard question. My best friend is a named loz and sh is a b!tch. I mean totally - but she can be really understanding when times are tough for me because she's real secretive.
But the thing is - she's a freaking emo posing as punk and normally I hate those people. But I like her because she understands me a lot and she makes me laugh

wow sounds like alota mixd emotions there SWK lol...my closest friend is kinda emo 2..not that she dresses emo but there is definately a slight emo-ish-ness (<lol thats definately not a word) 2 her (mainly coz she admitted 2 me she used 2 b a cutter..which im totally against so i forbade her to ever do it again)...which is strange coz i too usually dont like emos at all, im like against them... but she is really kool 2 talk to and she is always laughing so she kinda keeps you in a good mood all the time and she is really nice, so i spose thats why we r close.
PS. i dont really like 2 say "best friend" as i think its a bit unfair, and i dont think that just because your closest 2 sum 1 that they r necessarily the best friend u hav so thats y i didnt use "best friend" if any1 was wondering..just a personal preference.

Ooh, hard one. My two closest friends (not counting boyfriend as he cant qualify) are both guys (though that is questionable )

One of them is president of the src( not by the teacher's choice), and a total arrogant, barsta*dis d**khead, but he's like my big brother and has always looked out for me. especially in high school, when a guy had a go at me and Nath pinned him against the wall and threatened to smash his head in, despite the guy being 2 years older then him

the other one is the delightful Cookie Lover, who I'm pretty sure everyone here knows, and is the reason why i am still sane (or is that insane?) cause he always keeps me laughing
