... my dog is being put down in about an hour. She's 17 years old and she just wont eat anymore.
My evil grandmother sent me to school saying that my test today was what I should be thinking about. Well... I'm not doing the test today, there is no way I could focus on writing an essay.
I've known the dog since before I had memories! It's just not fair! It's either let her die in pain or just send her to sleep... The time's I truly wish for beastspeaking talent so I could know what she wants.
I thought I would post this here. Suprisingly I'm not crying anymore like I was earlier this morning. I guess this isn't as hard as losing a relative, but I haven't lost anyone close to me, so this really hits home hard.
"If human lives be, for their brevity, sweet, then beasts lives are sweater still." - Billy Thunder and the Night Gate.
*sniffles* I love you Molly!!!!!

*hugs for Ashta*
Of course you can post it here, hun! And I give you permission not to do your essay.
*more hugs*
Remember, we're all here for you, and if you need to talk, this is the place to do it.
*third hugs*
That's a beautiful quote form Billy Thunder you put up!
We'll be thinking of you today, Ashta.

You poor thing, Ashta. It's so sad when that happens. It doesn't matter if you know the dog's in pain or that, by not eating, she's dying anyway - it's still incredibly hard. Like Kayt said, we're all thinking of you.

*Hugs for Ashta* I know what its like. I lost my dog a while back, and it isn't easy. But hang in there, and we're all here if you need to talk about anything.

*gives ashta top-deck and pink milk* I feel like crying now. I always cry when someone tells a dog story like that. *huggles Ashta*

i completely understand your pain it's hard when a friend dies animal or human i've always had dogs and their deaths are never easy at least she had a long life and believe me 17 is long i have lost many dogs around the ages of 12 don't let anyone make you feel embaressed about being sad *gives shoulder to lean on* it might be nice if you made a photo album with lots of pictures of molly or maybe you could write something about her and post it here remember we're all here for you

*hugs Ashta*
I've had 3 cats die in my life from my family, and more of my Grandma's cats (and I spend a lot of time at my grandparents so I knew all those cats really well too).
It's so sad!
