The other day, i was wandering through the gardens surrounding Ober.net, on my way to the Dreamweaver Tower, when i saw small envelope floating at the gate. I was running late for a meeting with Ness, Emerald, Arien and Cat, and i hurried along, my red curls floating behind me, my head full of ideas for Moonfair.
I probably shouldn't have stopped to pick up the envelope, as it was probably addressed to someone else, cause i never get any mail. But, being inquisitive that i am, i stooped down at the gate, and took a look. It had a black wax seal, that was already broken, on the back of it. It seemed that someone else had already read whatever was inside. I stuffed it into my pocket and quickly walked through the gate, greeting the Squirrels on sentry duty a hello, and rushed up the stairs of the tower.
"DM!!" Arien called. " Over here!" I turned to my left and the 4 of them were sitting around a table, eating chocolate mousse, the TV on in the background.
" Now about Moonfair...." Ness was saying, but I was too excited to listen.
" Look what i found!!!"
I exclaimed, thrusting the envelope across the table. Ness took a look at it, and passed it to Cat
" Whats in it??" She asked me.
"Maybe we should have a look?" Emerald suggested.
Cat turned the envelope over, and pulled a letter out. The paper was black, the writing silver and red. this is what it said:
"Beware the number of the beast. On the sixth day of the sixth month of the sixth year of this millennium Obernewtyn shalt be overrun. Eyes shall be opened, minds shall be aware, let the light and the dark reign over all."
Squirt poked her head in.
" Whats going on??" she asked. Following her was Kangaruth, Tegan, and the rest of the Dreamweavers. They gathered around and read the letter out loud again.........
