How the hell did THAT happen?  The worst I've ever done to my computer was spill a cup of tea on to the keyboard, which meant: new keyboard required. Wasn't a bad thing really, as the new was far superior to the old. ;D Out of curiosity, what model is your digital camera? |

ah the camera's only a cheap thing from asda. its a vivitar vivcam 4345 4.0 megapixel.
basically what i did was plug the camera into the front usb on old computer and something threw a fit and blew the massive capacitor on the motherboard where the front usbs were connected. at least it went in style!

The fault could've been that the front USB ports weren't connected to the motherboard correctly, but it certainly shouldn't have caused that much damage!

im just going for the fact it was second hand and old and it was just my luck hehe
thankfully all my work is saved on usb pen or remote storage!
on computery things and foodstuffs, my printer ate a biscuit. advice to all: do NOT feed digestives to printers. I'm still picking the crumbs out lol.
Touch wood all is working now apart from my mp3 player which wasnt working anyway, stupid microsoft. *rolls sleeves up and commences battle to find drivers*

it only ate the one, but getting it to regurgitate the second half of it was a pain in the backside. ah well it seems to be working okish now.
