Oh, by the way Miss Snow Walker Queen formerly known as KaylanR  , I think you might like Souvenirs by The Gathering, if you haven't heard of it already. The Gathering are a Dutch group who were one of the founders of goth music, but Souvenirs is an incredibly atmospheric album, carefully constructed, moving beyond goth cliches without destroying their roots. Within Temptation, another Dutch band, are more mainstream goth - their music is inspired by Robin Hobb and George R. Martin books, so it won't surprise you that the songs sound like a soundtrack to the books! For some reason, the Dutch and Finns produce a lot of goth music. Not sure why this is so. |
