Hey all, So, I just started doing V.C.E music, and i have a recital in a few months. I need to find about three songs to play, each in a different style of music, and since I'll be playing double bass, I need songs with more complex basslines. I've been pondering to myself for a few days now, searching the net, but its not so easy finding songs, so I beg of the musically diverse crowd of Ober.Net, please help?  I'm open to all suggestions, jazz, rock, classical, punk... Thanks, Frankie |

bass lines.... hmm... rage against the machine?
I'd put some jazz in there because that can have some really technical aspects that will impress.

Im gunna go with Green Day, U2, and Metallica... and Disturbed or Rammstein... albeit that itsin german hehe!!!
edit -ive jsut re read it...worked out its double bass not bass guitar ( why did i think that?? im weird) so forget any of those unless you find soemthnig in them lol...
perhaps Opeth or Tool or A Perfect Circle....

Did u kno disturbed r coming 2 oz? they supporting korn. hate korn but was going to go just 2 c disturbed. Unfortunatly da tickets were $95, n i was broke at da time. U going? |
