My parents don't talk about their anniversary, it's become a competition. Whoever remembers it wins, I sometimes remind one of them in order to get on their good side if I need to borrow money or something. You'd think after 31 years they'd remember it... I do!

Yeah, and it's my friend's 21st birthday (Friday the 13th) It's my parent's 25th wedding anniversary this year... a week after Valentine's Day, so they normally don't do anything for Valentine's Dad and instead do something gfor their anniversary Cat

i hate valentines day, even more than when i was single. i hate the fact im supposed to expect a fuss. i dont want anything! i hate it if i get a fuss because everyones says "awww its that sweet, you're so cute," and if i dont get a fuss everyone asks why not? manage to foil everyone last year by buying season 2 of alias as a joint poresent between me and chris. i chose the present, the level of fuss and confused people enough for them not to make stupid comments. therte's no stopping me with them tho ill shut up now

Yeah why do guys have so much trouble with anniversaries and stuff. One of my ex's can barely remember his own birthday, we're still friends and I had to remind him about his mums birthday last year.
I'm constantly reminding male friends about that stuff.
