u guys just like teh power! besides, if peopel didnt post stuff in the wrong threads whats teh point inbeing a mod? peopel would start using their powers on other thigs?

The point of being a mod? *looks around* you see all the stuff working like clockwork (mind the pun). Someone has to code it, and design it. Someone has to make sure things are working on the site - you might not see a lot of it on the surface, but we put a hell of a lot of work into this site, and just coming along and debasing it on what, you're second day here, is not on.
*takes off mod hat*
We're also regular members here. Most mods have been members of Obernet since it started in 99. So it's nothing to do with power, it's more to do with organisation. If you read Obernewtyn and check our their system with Guilds and whatnot, you'll get us a bit more.

Well I personally think Min and Avvie are wonderful goddesses, but not because they abuse their power...because they are wonderful people who have created and maintain a great community!
