Well, I was just wondering. And as the title says, how did you meet your best friend? Personally, I met my best friend when I was moved next to him in English unwillingly. I thought he was wierd and snobbish, but as I came to know him I now think of him as the best friend I have. ;D

i met one my best friends first on msn through kayt, and then through some mutual friends at school, i was kinda freaked out by her at first but yeah, wait she still freaks me out sometimes but i still love her to death.
my other best friend i met around the same time when i went with a friend to sign another friends farewell card, i was a complete cow to him but we became really close friends, and at times more.

I met my best friend (also an Obernewtyn fan obviously) in my first year of Primary School, we were best friends by grade 3 and we have been ever since, eventhough she moved over 2 hours away. She rang me about 2 years ago to tell me about this series she had just read (obernewtyn) but before she could I told her that I had just read a great series called Obernewtyn and neather of us knew that the other were reading Obernewtyn. Weird HUH
I love ya Lee Love Kal

I've gone through stages with best friends, because we moved around so much when I was growing up. In primary school, I was best friends with Serena. We were total opposites - she was an absolute sports fanatic and I did everything and anything musical, but we became best friends because of...The Babysitters club!! lol. At book week, we found out we both loved the BSC. We ended up going to different high schools though.
In grade 8/9. my best friend was Heather. We'd known each other from high school - she was a sarcastic, troublemaking, tiny sports fanatic (see a trend?) and I was still doing everything musical. We'd known each other from primary school, but mainly got to know each other because we caught the same bus to school/home from school (it was about an hour long bus trip btw).
I met my current best friend Hallie when I moved to stanthorpe in grade 9. We've been best friends for 10 years, and that's not going to change anytime soon, despite our lives being so different. She's married, and pregnant (expecting in March next year) - I'm living along (though have a boyfriend) and focussing on forwarding my carreer. Whenever we get together (every second weekend or so) we just go crazy. Unlike my other best friends, she's certainly not a sport fanatic!! What we have in common is that we can't get on with other many other women - other than each other!!!

I don't really remember when I met my best friend. We knew each other for a while before, but then out other friends who were in our class moved away so we sorta became closer.
P.S She's LOVES Obernewtyn!

Well of course! Who wouldn't?
My best friend is so different to me. He doesn't really like reading, but he reads my books and likes them

my best friend is back in oz- i didn't really want another coz we grew up together and it's different when you move to another country because you cease to have that familiarity with ppl- that's not to say i don't adore my friends here. neway remembering how we met involves remembering making friends when i was 6 or 7. but i think i sort of stole her away from another girl who she was friends with. that sounds cruel i know but it wasn't intentional. and we're complete opposites (she's more girly sporty and i don't think i've ever seen her read much, whereas i am far from girly far from sporty and have made it my life's ambition never to be without a book )
