Can anyone tell me how to put my own picture on my profile? I have an image from a different proboards site, and these boards don't have it. The image is saved on my hard drive, but I don't know how to get it on my profile. Can anyone help?  By the way, cool boards! |

Are you talking about an avatar or signature (or both)?
you need to upload it to a web location first. Maybe you have angelfire or geocities or something? If not, email it to me and I'll put it up somewhere and let you know.

Tis ok. I worked it out. ;D It was the avatar I was asking about. I just worked out how to do it. But since you asked, how do I get a signature? Yours and the Buneaters are so cool!

You just make one in photoshop or something, and there's a section on the profiles page that allows you to type in the boards version of html for your siggy.

Thank-ewe! My signature is part of a background I did for the multimedia gallery, but I'm quite happy to take requests. You do signatures in a similar way to avatars - they have to be hosted remotely. All you need to do is put the URL for the pic in the box for your signature and it will show up at the bottom of each post. Let me know if you still want one and I'll help you with the code as well.
