I'm planning on doing a new quiz, and marking my completion of the first two legendsong books... so i need some ideas to help me along. I wanted to get people's impressions of certain groups within legendsong. So, tell me what you think about the windwalkers, the wavespeakers, the plantsingers the.... damn i can't remember them all... remember i have only read the books once! So some help on finding out what each group are like would be most helpful, and i shall get to the quiziness....
that, and i am an adict...

like as in their characters? i see it linked to their envirnoments- so plantsingers are good natured (generally) and sort of natural and friendly and pretty tolerant of others, even if they disagree with them on things windsingers are alot more cold and reserved and probably abit individual/private (not just because of solen but the fact that flying is more solitary) maybe abit competitive too wavespeakers i see as good leaders, quiet/ good listeners but maybe abit family orientated- so not as concerned with ppl outside their social group Iridomi ppl who can detect poisons (something to do with scent but i can't remember the name) i guess you coul say abit to preoccupied with indulgence and pleasure and easily jealous sort of fiery and emotional/ tempremental visionweavers is really hard to judge coz we haven't met a real one. but i'd say they were probably the most private, introspective and maybe not the best listeners but still quiet and creative and teeming with ideas and i can't remember whether myrmidon has a talent or whether it's just there to protect the soulweavers but the myrmidons are active, maybe prone to physical retaliation but also really loyal and generally good natured to those who are kind to them, they also have a tendency to want to protect others and the soulweavers are sort of mystical and though they're introspective it is only because they figure things out that way but they are also connected with the outside world as well, i sort of see them as being like philosophers who contemplate things olny to solve practical problems. but since they're so concerned with the bigger picture they're also willing to give themselves/ their life for it

I have something to add. The Acanthans look kinda Asian with their almond shaped eyes. Acanthan windwalkers utilise the air current to levitate themselves, sometimes equip with hang glider type wings to catch thermals for harder journeys. Vespians control all of Keltor's ships - through wavespeaking. They receive information from the waves, traversing currents and can, psychically, sooth the irritated brain waves of silfi. They are small, swarthy people that speak freely. Fomhikans are blonde and well built. They can enhance the growth of plants by singing to them. Fomhikan Cirul is supposed to have a greater potency than others. The Iridomi have a sense of smell so strong enough to detect the medicinal value of plants. The Sheannites are shy and dislike speaking lightly or without reason. They are slender and small boned. Visionweaving is their skill. They rarely travel. Myrmidons are Amazon-like women who are protectors of the Soulweavers. Their hair is bound in dreadlocks and they use a spear as their weapon. They go through a training process called a Rhaid. I look forward to your next quiz, Flit.
