I haven't been on in aaaages so it's good to see a few familiar names still hanging round. Just wanted to see if people knew about the new book in the Quentaris chronicals,Angel Fever, just found out about it tonight from the library catologue (checking if the sending is in the catalouge yet, which it is, it says ON ORDER!) And I turn up and theres no old posts left (which by the sound of it is coz they were getting obscene.) Anyhow, I haven't read it yet, but I'm going to get it tomorrow! There is a web page for the series and some of the other books look really good, But I bet I's will be the best. Anyhow the link is www.quentaris.com/main.htmlHappy reading!

dear sugar magnolia,
so glad I have managed at last to login. Lud the type is so small.... forgive the typos! I am really pleased u liked Angel Fever. I loved writing it. I have another Quentarus book coming out in a couple of months called The Cat Dreamer. Hope u like that one as well.
oh, Talisha, I didnt write either book with anyone else. the city and world in which the stories are set was invented by Paul Collins and Michael Prior and I thought it would be fun to write in that world...
best wishes isobelle carmody

Dammit, I came here to tell Sugar Magnolia about the Quentaris series and the new addition to that series from Isobelle and that information has already been imparted... from the horse's mouth, no less. ;D Ah well, you can't complain about that.

Are your librarians nice, Frankie? If so, you could always ask them to get the books in for you. I put together a little form for my library so that students could requests books they really wanted to read. If you have good librarians (like I was), then they'll be eager to hear the requests of students. Otherwise, how do they know which sorts of books are going to be read?

Tell us more about virtuous librarians (like you were) Buneater!
Flit: Ignore her Buneater. She's being rude again.
Clare: **looks embarrassed**
Flit: Or you can let her go on and then extort sherbet lemons and 5 years worth of servitude from her.
Buneater: A most plendiferous notion!
**Clare meanwhile has snuck away to hide in a cupboard**
**sneezes because of the dust**
Clare: Oh hello Kayt.
Kayt: Pip pip old bean! A bit of hush. We're hunting bunnies!
<outside the cupboard>
Buneater: I think we need to have a word to Clare about her blatant impromptu-play stealing.
Flit: Whatever makes her happy but really, she's not the brightest sparkplug to be plagarising like it's gone out of fashion.

Oh, hey, i've made it into another script... getting a bit worried now... must wonder, who would play me...?
Oh, and Clare, seriously now, if you don't get me those sherbet lemons soon........ just don't think that 5 years of servitude was a threat is all i'm saying...
