There were constuction workers at my school, they have just left and now there is a large hole near me and my friends eating area. Lots of people sit in it...but that hasn't happened for a while so the other day Boyd and I sat in it and ate our lunch. We sit in it quite a lot,it's practically like I live in it. Has anyone else had this same experience at school? (It got quite hot so we wore sunnies and sat on a blanket)

Lets see....my school was inder construction a few years ago. They did the ends of one of the wings, and left the middle in all its craptacular glory So for about 2 years, there were holes everywhere and the sounds of drills and bulldozers filled every class. I believe my friends and I wrote a stupid song about it, as we sat next to the construction site How did it go again..... We're sitting here be the concrete, which seems to be rotting away, theres a construction site, right next to us, and we suspect Mr W's gay Greensborough College, where else would we be? There's holes in the floors and we're missing doors... Greensborough College, Where the teachers get low pay, most of the guys are gay and the kids smoke weed all day.....Thats the first verse I think that was from year 8

hehehe..
yes, my school went under construction as well. They demolished my group's sitting area but before it got demolished, it was just turned into a mud hole, and in winter we used to run around in the mud and get bogged it was great! we had to stand outside class and bang our shoes on the concrete before we'd get let in
And then the whole middle of the school got fenced off, and it took 15 minutes to get from one classroom to another...thenthey demolished my class's home room (thank lud...now THAT was a hole...)

everybody calls my school a hole in general they built a shade shealter recently on the basketball courts, so that we'd have more shade to sit in...the stupid thing is that not many ppl actually sit there. And now we have 9 demountables as well as normal classroms, which has made more areas off limits and less places to sit...its like their trying to heard us into the shade shealter...

Well, it looks like they're gonna be demolishing some buildings at the college i work at next year. Most of them were built in the 50's/60's and are rather delapidated.
The daft thing is they're taking the main building down first, which means we have to move the IT Office, our main server room (including the leased line to the outside world, and all of our fibre cabling), and out telephone exchange (and all associated wiring).
Trouble is, we seem to have been forgotten about, and left out of all the plans! Looks like we'll be homeless...

i've been ranting about this for ages. my school is under construction and it's become a sort of labyrinth with passageways blocked off and exits closed, there are so many inconveniences where we haveto take long routes and to add to it there's a massive hole in the centre of the courtyard where they're building something or other. i'm so frustrated as this is my final year so i don't get to reap the benefits of all of it!

The bird lice incident was great, Talmina!!!
Me, Sophie and Tegan went to the shops and bought a big tub of Neopolitan icecreams and 3 spoons.
It kicked geraniums!!!
