I LOVE the sweet honey mead! ;D But I only get it once a year at the medieval may ball . It is the only alcohol I'll actually drink - all the rest are urky. I'm actually wearing my dress right now because I just finished it and I want to get used to it BEFORE I go a partying ;D. I'm a (very very minor ) 12th century Norman Lady ;D

Tis unforunate that you don't get much mead for the moneym, or i'd drink more of it. Why, pray tell, is the Lady of Locksley going disguised as a common norman lady, when she should be dressed to befit her title?

Why, pray tell, is the Lady of Locksley going disguised as a common norman lady, when she should be dressed to befit her title? because the material I'd have to buy to make it would be well over the $20 budget I had to make my dress ;D

Tis a fair reply. Sometimes one must dress as a commoner not to be noticed! ;D

i got invited to a medieval feast once but after the event so i was very very annoyed at the guy that asked me We don't seem to have that here!!!! i would like that i would like to go to a renesance fair which is similar but i don't think you get to dresas up just the actors.
We have sprit week where we have things like super hero day clash day schoool colors day. Stuff like that. Super hero was fun one dude went as a cave man in furs and had a big black wig. i would think cross dress ay would be ultimate. Oh once on clash day someone wore a business suit top and and dress and water wings and flippers and a mask. it was a guy and was very funny.

When I went to high school we had a fundraising day every year where each class would dress as a theme (my class did hippies, men in black, bill and ben the flower pot men, mickymouse and fishermen) then the whole school would walk to a park at the beach ( with much grumbling ;D - it took about an hour) and we'd have a picnic and each class would do a preformance. It was lots of fun. We got so many odd looks - esspecially when we walked though the main part of sandgate. The teachers got really into it to, which was great. Mr Phillips was once denounced by his sons 'cause he had to go as a toothfairy ;D
