Ahhh 'twas a fabulous day
I have now officially made the quarter century mark.... the OLDNESS!!!
having reached such a venerable age the family is unable to give the toys/socks and underwear routine SO I get Bookvouchers!!! (and money from boring peeps)
This is officially my favourite time of year where I hit Dymocks and A&R and spend up big. SO today I went and spent a leetle bit on 3 new books
1. The new Robin Hobb - oh yes released this week!! "Shaman's Crossing" I am looking at it's shiny newness now and putting off opening it cos once I do.... I will keep reading till I finish it
2 + 3 are 2 books in a new series by a new author I've found - Jude Fisher
"Sorcery Rising" and "Wild Magic" I was recommended these so I'll have to see, the blurb sounds good though
My shelves will need re-arranging. Seriously I have sooooo many of them mostly fantasy/scifi. I will have to post in Emeralds Thread in the Library forum and recommend some to people. I swear I could be a lending library on my own
More real pressies are forthcoming - I will let you know...

thanx- (and timm you're not late) i kinda wanted to say i got the best present and i am so rediculously shocked  i sort of collect old or rare books, and my mum found a first edition of some poems and stories by JRR Tolkein with the most beutiful illustrations in them so i am right now running around in excitement *runs away* *returns* anyway must go |
