im not allowed to open mine til 9am when the rest of my family arrive. the only present i know that ive got is my new formal dress (i have a formal dress fetish, i now own 3 of them, and have to buy another one before november for my brothers wedding), and it was only $25. im yet to pay more than $90 for a formal dress though. oh and the lamp i got off santa
but......

I had a dream that I was trying on dresses for my formal...i tried two pale green ones and then this awful yellow one and ended up choosing this gorgeous red one...except then I was late because I hadn't had my hair and makeup done and I was worried that

whoops...
yeah, i was worried that I had no date so I ended up asking my best friend's guy to come with me but it made me even later because I had to explain to my friend that I wasn't trying to steal him, I just wanted someone to stand next to me in the photos so I wouldn't feel scared.
For presents - I got choccy, a bookmark which described what people named Brydie are supposed to be like (though every single sentence insulted me so much that I ended up putting it in the wrapping paper pile in the hope that it would 'accidentally' get thrown out - Mum found it. Gah.), a calendar titled 'Camelot' (though I have no idea why, since all of the pictures in it are of Romeo and Juliet snogging) and...yep, thats about it.

I got a few books Trickster's Choice-finally!! w00t! Dreamwalker, too, and a couple of others..
Some cds, clothes, a silver bracelet and anklet, some grunky nail polish  err...*scratches head* some bath stuff, i think...oh!! a new radio! because my other one decided it didn't want to play cds or tapes anymore...and then the aerial fell of it, and it decided it didn't want to play radio either...
i think that's about it.
And a guitar! *plays it madly*

I got two new pairs of kickboxing gloves, one for punch bags, one for sparring, and some shin pads  . Um, the new Green Day album and two books, Silverthorn by Raymond E. Feist and The Tower of Ravens by Kate Forsyth My other cousins and aunts and uncles got me two $30 vouchers for Planet 13 (a goth rock shop) a new pair of gothy earrings and a living dead doll, which has these bubblegum pink pigtails and a noose so you can strangle her |

My christmas has so far been quite low key, but my presents were good, mainly books because I'm a bit of a book geek. Oh, and Merry Christmas everyone! I'm glad to spend my first christmas in this community.

Merry Boxing Day! I got the Lonely Planet guide to every country in the world...it's sooo cool, and has heaps of piccies, lol. I also got an Alanis CD, umm, clothes like boxers and some pajamas, loool, and a $20 CD voucher, and a phone cover, and JELLY BELLY JELLYBEANS! |

Merry Boxing Day also!!! My bros and I got an air hockey table as a joint pressie I got a $30 Angus and Robertson gift voucher, a $50 Borders voucher, two free movie ticket vouchers, a pair of Tinkerbelle pj's (they're sooo cute!) umm... lots of choccie and stuff like that. I got a couple of pairs of earrings, and some socks (i love socks ), I got some money too lol im sooo spoilt! hope y'all had a good day  |

ok heres what i got tv, lamp, formal dress, cd wallet thing that carries a discman too (not the brightest idea since i just got a mp3 player and dont have a discman that works anymore), undies, tolietries, some girly facewasher thing (its from my gran, need i say more.., i love her but she really pick me good presents, i did discover recently that she does have a sense of humour after all though, but back to the pressies), a bath pack with bath bombs and stuff in it, the new kathy reichs book (which i finished in like 4 hrs), i think there was more, but i cant remember atm

now i think my family have issues! all of my presents were alcoholic in some shape or form. really scary actually...ok well most of them! here is my list:

There is a Borders store in Swanstons street i think, in Melbourne. and in Chadstone, and Nox shopping centres... theres bound to be more, i just don't know them.

yeah my brother and his fiancee had that problem, i got them a shot dispenser, mum got them a breathaliser thingy (which my brother spent the morning making sure everyone was under their legal limits), and a drinking game. i asked them as they were taking it all out to the car if they felt like alcoholics yet. though they did get some other stuff too

they were apparently going to get me the shot dispenser thingy too, which wouldve been really funny when it came to unwrapping pressies. but after the broken leg incident and my brother making me cry at the hospital cos he was giving me crap about having been drinking when i broke my leg they werent so sure about it so they didnt get it for me

My dog decided this Christmas to get bitten by a random thing and end up have us take her to the emergency vets to get a couple of shots costing us $220, i could have bought several bags for that, dorky dog.... oh well, she is family, and she couldn't sit down, it hurt her too much....
Ah, but the chocolate i got was enough to soothe even the most annoyed Flit....

I was tempted to get a t-shirt for my accounting friend that said "Tax man: Jack Schitt, when you do your tax return you get Jack Schitt" or something like that..... Oh, the corney humour...
But i really wanted to get the pair of pj's i saw that had written on the front "Don't... Just don't." but i saw them ages ago and like an idiot didn't buy them when i saw them. Like this gorgeous dress i saw once, am still regretting that.....

Merry Christmas everyone! What a lovely stash of presents everyone received. Mine included: calendars, book vouchers (huzzah!), Finding Nemo and various other bits and pieces, among which was some fudge made my by mum - possibly the best fudge in the world EVER. My Christmas day involved driving around a lot - to Vermont South, to Ashburton, to Thomastown and finally, to Beechworth. I think we spent half the day in the car! |
