Just thought I'd share this  I have a really wierd fear of sleeping with my wrists uncovered. Not like the top just the underside. I just hate leaveing them out in the open when I sleep  I just can't do it they have to have something over them even if it's just my other hand. neone else have nething like that or am I alone in haveing wierd fears? I think this topic has already come up but I can't find it  |

I know I'm not the only one with a fear of Metal.
At least two other Obernetters have the same rather weird fear.

I have a weird fear of anything that is even remotely sharpish that could potentially, but accidently, cause a stabbing injury....

dont we already have this thread somewhere?
anyways, im scared of fish, butterflies, foundation, anything strange touching my wrists (i'll usually cover them with bracelets), the taste of metal, and pretty much the feel of it, exetremely small spaces with no light or known air source (i was locked in a chest when i was little), and..yeah

Ooo, Tammy, I have a similar fear. Well, not so much fear but am very very uncomfortable with going to sleep with my ears exposed!!! So, even when its really hot (which, thankfully for my sleep doesn't happen very much over here) I still need a thin sheet over me to pull up over my eI don't know why, aybe I think somethings going to crawl in them or something. Weird.
Other (actual) fears are needles and moths *shudder* I cry if I see a moth. (Or butterfly, but it's easier to run away from them because you only encounter them out in the open!)

Well okay maybe not...I am afraid of big spiders!!
There was a huge one on the wall of our house last night!!!! It was the size of both my hands!! Totally scary!

im scared of big hairy spiders :S i was afraid of heights, but then i climbed this mountain with a cliff off the edge of it at camp  then i squeezed through this narrow opening so im not as scared of small spaces now ;D a week ago walking home from school, i suddenly was scared of fast cars coming around the corner and running me over  oh and im also scared of big fires, such as massive bush fires, which happen sometimes, coz i live near the bush |

well i actually thought of somethin! the movie the ring terrified me! so im scared of the ring...but to explain this: i freak my self out when i look down at my note pad in lectures and see i have kept scribbiling round and round in circles, making that wonderfull dark ring/circle thing that they all do on the last day! it always happens when im bored, which is always! so i manage to scare myself and make me jump :S

Yeah, the ring was pretty scary. I burst into tears when the horse died  All my friends were staring at me, like, you just sat through it, and when the horse dies, you dont want to watch anymore? I cant wait til the next one comes out ;D yay Lucy!! Another person afraid of butterflies!!! No one can understand my fear of them And Brownie, i dont like to go anywhere near under my bed. Sometimes i do a run up and jump onto it so nothing will grab me  I always have to sleep with my closet shut as well  |

And I used to be afraid of this bronze goose in my grandmother's house. I had to walk past it to go to bed when we stayed and I thought it would come to life as I passed it and bite my ankles. I only told my grandparents about it last year or something (after getting over the fear) and they were like "oh silly. You should have said something and we would have moved it". Apparently all my sisters were scared of it as well.Squarmi |

my mum used to have this evil looking persian marianet puppet in her room, and it was soooo scary!!
I used to run past it with my eyes closed ;D
