My hair changes colour with the seasons. Well I don't mean red, black, grey and purple or anything. More like brown in winter, reddy-brown in autumn and spring, and then it goes reddy brown with blonde bits in summer and I have two proper black hairs aswell which stand out because they're in amogst some red hairs. I suppose I was meant to be a tabby cat or something? I am hopeless with hair. That's why mine's short. Basically all I know how to do is wash it. I did have purple hair for a while which I liked. I think Henna is good to dye your hair with because it doesn't damage it so much. But ofcourse there's not the same range of colours. That's about all I know about hair written down for all to see. I hope you find the answers you're looking for Min. Raineth

argh *sigh* yes please Eth.
Speaking of colours...most of the photos around here of mine are of my recent but not most recent colour. I wanted it a little lighter, so I got the dye and did all the usual hair dye prep stuff. When I washed it out, my hair was BLACK. It was very very weird. I was looking from my hair to the box packet just going HUH? So in a couple of days, I put two packets of blonding creme through it and was blonde for about 2 hours, before I put in this colour called 'honeydip'. A bit brighter than I thought it would be but I was sick of dying hair by then... *kicks hair dye company*

i am naturally a brunette (well mousey brown which is puhh so i dye it). at the moment it is dark brown with coppery highlights but you can't see them really well cause i cut my hair off really short!! (think Alyssa Milano in charmed) and now it has grown out heaps and i think i will grow it cause i can't keep paying $30 for a haircut every month! my hair grows sooo fast until it gets to shoulder length and then it stops. i had it down to my waist and then i cut it right off short. i kwpt waking up with it wrapped around my neck and in my mouth and ti fell out heaps. colors - i have been red, orange, copper, blonde, white blonde, black, all shades of brown, purple ... all shades of red come to think of it, but now i am older and wiser and working a regular job i think i need to remain a brunette - at least for the moment the scary thing it - i'm only 25, but i have so many grey hairs you can see them now it is short!! ahh the stress of a shi**y job!

I wanted to have grey and black hair, but i cant find grey hair die Ok the, my hair is naturally a medium brown colour, then i died my fringe hot pink. My principal told me to get rid of it, so i died my hair neon red and black (my amazing logic ). After that i died my fringe white blonde, but the black die in my hair kind of darkened it a few shades, so it wasnt really white anymore, just blonde. Then i put neon red streaks through it, cos i dont do what im told. And this weekend i think im getting it cut a bit, and died completely black At the mo' my hair is almost down to my hips, which is getting annoying Damn my hair!! Maybe i'll get it shaved off, or put into a mohawk

oops,s orry min. Didn't get to the dining hall last time I was on.
Well, when I do it, I jsut use my iron as if its a curlign wand : grip the hair in the iron then wind it around, hold it for a few seconds then let it go. But the iron has to be really hot...usually when I'm straightenign I let it heat up jsut enough to do the job, btu that doesn't work for curling. Is that the way you're doign it? If so, I dont know how to help you, sorry Min.
