Hey gals, Got a really dumb, probably blondish question but I thought I'd post it just in case coz my girly friends don't know how to do this. I have a GHD hair straightener, and I think it's the most wonderful thing in the world (apart from chocca. And maybe crunchy nut cornflakes). Straight hair is awesome and easy - but I know that the GHD can pull off curls somehow. Does anyone here know how? Every time I try I end up ironing a permanent, very-not-curly kink into my hair...

thanks guys. Sorry omega Squarmi that'd be brilliant. I remember the hair dresser showing me, but when I tried it I messed it up. Because it's so thin you can use it like a curling wand apparently, but it's far too hot... what a sorry excuse for a thread hey?

Sounds like a bruise!
Don't do purple... your hair will turn grey when it starts to fade. Of course, if grey is what you're after....

Min: I've got a set of those straightners! They are fabulous and have cut my "getting ready" time in half! I got a little booklet with mine that shows me how to do all kinda of amazing things - it's only dinky, wondered if you might have missed it? Anyways, it says you can buy these little foam things that you twist your hair around (alothugh I'm sure anything cylindrical and that won't melt will do) then you just hod the straightners on it for a sec and magically cursl appear (that's what the booklet says anyway!!!)
Timm: Red

Talking of hair, what colour should I get mine dyed? I've given this a bit more thought and I truly believe that all need to know EXACTLY WHAT YOUR HAIR LOOKS LIKE NOW before we can make useful suggestions as to what colour you should dye it. And you know what that means. * points towards the photo thread*

Blue does look pretty good. But make sure if it's not already blonde that you get it bleached nice and white first so that the colour comes out nice and bright

OK, my hair is black, or maybe very, very dark brown. Anyways, I think I have it down to red or blue. And, no, not bald, whichever smart ass said that I can't get it dyed until after school ends, anyway
