just out of curiousity, what is lynching? I'm assuming it's something bad (I'm actually seeing it as likely to be fatal to the one being lynched).

actually lynch is an irish word, and the term was named after some naughty irish people wasnt it? our friend have the last name lynch so we call them the lynch mob

ANYWAY, returning to the point, sorry I haven't been on much, IT'S DAMNED UNFAIR TO GIVE THIS MANY ASSIGNMENTS IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF SCHOOL!! NOT HAPPY JAN!!!
*Ahem* Returning to the game...
You count the hands and see a majority, you advance on Timm who is casually not paying attention. Just as you get near, a voice from your mob yells "STOP". You turn to see who said, but couldn't discover who.
This lynching in stopped until everyone has used 2 postings to convince. You can only use 2. I'll see if I can convince a friendly mod to delete postings past your 2, or else I'll just tell people to ignore them (This is so much easier on Vents where I would be a mod). Everyone has their 2 posts. You must present arguments as to why this person should be lynched, and then you have 2 more posting which will only be a VOTE posting.
The score card is clean again.

*Cough* That didn't seem to make much sense.
What's going to happen is you all have 3 postings from now until I start ignoring you. 2 of these you can say whatever, but you should use them to convinvce people why you want / don't want to vote Timm, and the 3rd can only say VOTE ____, or VOTE NOLYNCH.
Does everyone understand? If you post just to say 'I don't get it' it won't be counted in your 2 posts.

I think we should lynch timm coz if we dont he'll turn on us. whilst he is a throughly entertaining member of obernewtyn he has often in the past been very nasty to people by firing them or just being rude in general. do you want to die? no? then lynch timm! Besides we'll make his death nice and painless  by poking him with a very large stick!!! blame timm. lynch timm. just get timm out. a vote for timm is a vote for good! |

altho tim has been mean and nasty in the past! i think we have all felt the fireing stick or beign voted off the island...or any number of things like that. we have also undoubtibly been cased by hiddious things nad covered in much worse, but for all he has lashed out on us is nothin near what he has kindly taken from us. *hopes htat makes sence* we blaim timm for every nad anytihng, we poke him, torment him, flirt with him adn now want to lynvh him! give the poor guy a break! he has so kindly and unassumingly accepted these things and given us no real reason to think bad of him! plus he is the only person who nos how to play this game! and gosh, i htink we should just let him speak!

Actually i should have known that i have a friend named lynch too
its just i've only heard the word used in respect to american history
i think we should lynch timm because he turned against our wise leader cat-eyes at the first opurtunity
only the mafia would try such a trick
he was also the first one of us to even suggest a lynching
also has anybody seen timm at all recently obviously he is somewhere plotting which of us to kill first
on the other hand
nobody has died yet so can we actually lynch him
minds not made up yet

why YOU should vote Timm 1. I'm to soft to, I feel bad about voting people off  2. I've heard much about him firering people and whatnot so do it to him before he does it to you 3. He's not here so he's obviously has something to hide 4. none has died yet so he's obviously still planning it 5. he has yet to list his occupation so he must be mafia and finally ..... 6. he's the only one here who knows how to play, so we should get rid of him now ;D lauren hedgehog |

hmmmm....ok, i vote NO LYNCH now, because timm is entertaining and would get us through all the terrible, terrible times when people get killed off. hehehe...and also because i want him to be nice to me!! please dont fire me!!

Timm, they've already tried lynching you but somehow it got stopped. So, what's happening is everyone has 2 posts of whatever and then 1 post of saying VOTE ____, or VOTE NOLYNCH (no unvoting in this bit, guys, but I'm not counting any votes until you've used your 2 posts) and then unless we have a majority saying either vote someone else or vote nolynch, Timm will be lynched.

Ok, my fist instinct is to lynch him, but now that I think about it, he would probably make the game quite interesting. I mean, just think about it - any thread that Timm is on is always interesting......mainly because we're all picking on him, but meh. And we havn't had any evidance yet to suggest that he is part of the marfia, so we really have no reason to lynch him, accept that he's Timm. Which, I don't think is grounds on which to kill him.
In conclusion, VOTE NOLYNCH!!
