THIS IS A JOKE!!!!
Fine! Go ahead! Believe Rushton is the man for Elf if that's what you want to do, but how can you possibly believe he's a better man. How can anyone, by ANY stretch of the imagination, see Rushton as a better person than Dameon?
Dameon is less selfish, for a start!
He is less arrogant!
He is less rude!
And that's only for starters! What is WRONG with you people? Say whatever you like, pick whichever love interest you want, but what on earth is going on here? How can you all have deluded yourself into thinking Dameon is not a better person than Rushton. HONESTLY!!! Are you even THINKING about this, or are you automatically voting Rushton based on his love-interesty sex-appeal? I mean, COME ON!!! Okay, he's a good leader, he's got nice green eyes, and he loves Elspeth and she loves him. THAT DOESN'T MAKE HIM A GOOD PERSON!!!!It certainly doesn't make him automatically better than Dameon!
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY

I'd like to apologsie to our newest member, Rubyinnle! It's not her fault at all that Rushton is winning this poll. And my torrent of disbelieving abuse was not directed at her.
I've always been among the most reasonable of the Dameon supporters. I've always been polite as I can bear to the Rushton supporters.
But enough is enough.

but u guys remember - DAMES WAS WINNING when the thread was on wat it was ment to be bout...we all no rushton is best for elf! thats wat the other thread is for! but honestly can u truely say he is the better person?!
personally i dont think i can say either is! they are too differnet, but i think most ppl are voting rushton because of the elf thingnad the way IC has written the books...jsut try thinking bout it subjectively...
and kayt posts are never a waste! its great to see her fired up!

No! Different tastes should NOT equal argument!
There can be no argument about right and wrong!!! The only reason anyone could think Rushton is a better person is if they focus on the lovey-dovey "look at me I'm so hotness" and completely forget to take into account basic things like decency and being nice to other people. Or let's talk about being nice to say YOUR CLOSE FRIENDS!!!
Rushton is an arrogant, rude, smug little jerk and anyone who disagrees with me is just plain wrong!

Rushton is so the best. Dameon is too perfect-MAKE A MISTAKE! He doesn't even swear! I just read Ashling and Rushton said "d**n" at the start (in the cave under Tor).
