Just wondering why all the other guilds have these wonderful sigs promoting their guilds showing their pride and the wanderer's have squat?? Just a question

we could do this after the Moonfair... I noticed that Dreamweavers have some fancy banners too.
Elixa, did you just make them using Javascript??
I'd do it that way... but I dont know how to get the image online, which is no good cause then if I sign in on another computer it wont be in my sig...

nah, you gotta upload it to the internet you can register with free picture hosting places like photobucket.com and stuff so you can upload your pics |

You can also use a program called 'Animation Shop' to make animated gifs. It comes with another program called 'Paint Shop Pro' and you can download a free trial from the Jasc site here. |

I used Macromedia Flash MX 2004 for the Dreamweaver site buttons although I eport all things from flash as .swf files (I don't like the .gif compression of things). An if use Javascript it takes to long to code (I use Photoshop or Fireworks MX for image buttons)

Hehe - thanks, Arien! I'm glad the idea of an avatar and sig comp appeals. Looking at the standard of the sigs we have already, it would be a pretty tough competition - but it would be a lot of fun, too. I shall definitely do something about it once the Moonfair's over. |
