OK, people, it's time to get down to business. We have a lot of nominees so far but there are still some categories with no nominees at all. You can nominate either yourself or somebody else for the Obernewtyn Awards - all we need is a name or two, so we can give someone a nice, shiny award to attach to their sig for the duration of the Moonfair. Here are the awards with no nominees: Warden Zarak's 'Biggest Exaggerator' Award
The 'Hannah Seraphim Wannabee' AwardAll of the other awards have at least one nominee, although we would welcome more for those ones too. (They can be found on the first page of this thread.) I'll also list the people who've already been nominated. This purpose is two-fold: 1) they can get all excited and pick out their lovely mouldy frocks for the presentation and 2) you'll know who has already been nominated and will pick someone who hasn't been mentioned yet. Congratulations to everyone who has received a nomination! Now you know who's already in line for an award, try and think of the people who aren't on the list and nominate them for something. Actually, you were up for several awards, Elixa - so you'd have to do a lot of protesting! If you're not happy with the result of the Obernewtyn Awards, you're free to throw vegetables.  |

Hmmm, now my paranoid streak has kicked in.  By the way, for those of us who have multiple nominations, will we find out what they all were, even if we only win one catagory? I'd like to know what I was nominated for, just out of curiosity. |

Umm.... in some cases you'll find out, but it really depends on which records Min and I have kept. So, some of the nominees will be genuine, while others will be made up (and probably a little ridiculous with it). There's nothing to be paranoid about, though. 'Tis all in good fun. |

By this stage, I think we've all forgotten who nominated whom for what. Keep all your ideas for awards stored safely away for next year - they'll be needed! You're allowed to nominate anyone for anything (including yourself), but all the nominations have closed and the votes tallied. You'll just have to be patient and wait until..... TOMORROW! |
