I know there are many Ober.netters who act, so this is a question for the actors among us?

What is your ultimate performance ambition? What famous play do you want to be in? What character have you always wanted to play? If someone said to you, this is YOUR show. Pick any play and be which ever character you want, who would you decide to be?

lol i cant claim to be an actor but my favourite roles in drama were Robin Hood, got to have a fake mascara moutashe and wear green tights on stage and caesar coz i got to wear a purple sheet and a spiffy wreath

me! im no actor either, but i think id love to play puck from midsummer nights dream! hes sooo mischievous and fun! it'd definately be a hoot!!! that and i already no his closing speach!

hehe, i'm not really an actor either, but we did midsummer nights dream for a class play last yr!! puck was so cool i'd wanna be him too.

i don't know about others i'd like to play...hmm...i'll have a think.

i dont know who i would ultimately like to play, maybe katherine from taming of the shrew, knowing me id end up playing bianca cos i ALWAYS get the ditzy roles, some people *glares pointedly at kayt* even made me play barbie in yr 10. on the other hand "we used to tell her she was fat, oops i mean fine, omg i killed my sister" my worst screw up in a rehersal ever, i dont know how i managed to get through the reherasal.

anyway back to the topic yeah id love to play katherine cos shes such an awesome character. that and kat from 10 things about you is like my role model "i still maintain he kicked himself in the balls"

i really need to buy a copy of that, instead of going over to my friends place and watching his all the time, and him tryng to kill me cos im reciting lines. ohhhhh just remembered another great one "i wouldnt date her if she was the last woman on earth, and there were no sheep. ARE there sheep?" that always cracks me up

ok im stopping now before i post like the entire script or something, and i probably could almost do it too

not really a play but eponine from les miserables.

she's so sweet and although cossete IS the female lead and has heaps for to say... well sing since it's les mis, i love eponine and everytime i hear little fall of rain i bawl my eyes out.... besides on my own rocks.
she's just a more likable character in my eyes. she's not all perfect and the way she's so besoted with marius but he never gets it (or doesn't care until her tragic death) would be so fun to do..... *sigh*

plus i love the dieing thing. (except for when stabbing self with knife, it bloody hurts even if it retracts, th hilt bruises me every time..... or swallowing poison, it always seemed to taste like citronella BLEH!...... you know i think i hate the dieing thing actually......)

I love to Act! I always used to dress up as a princess. I guess i always like to see myself as a srtong chracter. Like a mermidion (sp?) in ledgendsong.

I like to act, but I'm not much of an actress! Anyway, i would want to be Viola from the 12th Night.

well i always wanted to be Lady Macbeth so then i got to be her this year at the Shakespeare Festival. Gosh it was fun. I did a duologue with my best friend as Macbeth. granted this was only a small thing and we didn't make it to regional (despite the audience absolutely LOVING us...ok sorry. getting too c0cky here. my drama persona comes out)

I want to be IAGO!!! evil jealous vindictive b****** ;D

Oh yes and Jack Sparrow and/or his hat
