I am bored. bored, i tell you! BORED as in Boringga! I have a cold too! I got a fever for my b'day!!! D**n it! i am going to have a rant & rave about trains too. They smell funny. They have the most puciest colour ever- spew green, it probably covers up the spew from the last night's druggos but it is still disgusting! there are lots of staring people on the train. they just stare at you. i must be going paranoid. I keep getting hit by basketballs from this guy playing mini matches in the train. Trains make noises worse than nails screeching down a blackboard. etc. I can't believe when I was little i thought trains were so fun! ERGGH! I am still bored. I wonder if I know anyone here. i don't think I do, but my neighbor could be right here reading this post, or one of my teachers, or that somebody I really hate!! Would be freaky if I knew somebody here without even knowing it. i am a bored cucumba

*cracks up* Omg NatAlley, you're so right about the people staring at you! There are some weird people on trains. I HATE TRAINS! Actually, I HATE PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN GENERAL! (excluding planes and boats, if, of course they are public transport in the first place...)

Boredom is not a good thing for me. I smoke too much, eat too much crap (well that ain't so bad considering i am under weight and getting in trouble by everyone i know - any eating disorder thoughts squash them now! i like food, very much, especially refined sugar, but it is not good for me and health food is so, well, boring) and i also watch really bad TV!!! Things like Days of our Lives etc etc... OOOOOO has anyone watched Passions? Now that is twisted!!
Umm herbal cold and flu remedies? Garlic and horseradish (to get rid of mucus), vit C, ginger and lemon tea (for sore throats), Lavender oil steam bath (for your sinus), ummm lots of fluids, lots of bed rest, no chocie or refined sugar (builds up mucus) and if you are having trouble breathing at night, some lavender or eucalyptus oil on your pillow and also rubbed into your chest and back (both these oils can be applied directly to the skin, but many oils can't so check them first), aching muscles ... nice deep bath with lavender and eucalyptus, and eats lots of honey! its soothes the throat and is generally really good for you! Camomile tea will also help you sleep, or Valerian tea or any herbal sedatives.
I am not a natropath or a herbalist, but i use all of these remedies on myself and they work with me, but, as with all forms of medicine, if you feel weird afterwards, stop taking it!!!

Have a nice hot cup of lemon tea with loads of honey in it instead of sugar. It lines your throat and I think has an invigorator in it, to make you feel not so head-blocked anymore. It's also a singer's remedy I think, if you've strained your voice? Bah, can't remember!

Bordem is a killer, and what happens at that moment is my notebook is open and the internet is connected and I surf around place of interest. Oh and to see what is happening here.

Chocie is also bad for headaches, particulary migraines. It has some sort of chemical in it. Red wine, and orange juice are also bad for causing headaches (and i don't mean the morning after you've drunk a bottle of wine ) my mum's doctor told her this stuff. she, like me, suffers from low blood pressure and when the BP drops, your blood sugar can drop too and cause headaches and dizziness and all that. the worst thing to do is eat sugar, but it gives you that quick buzz that we both do it. Mum carries lollies in her bag to school and i have started taking them to work. bad bad me!!!

You can do two things at once, Rilla - possibly even more! And isn't it much more interesting to be mucking about on these messageboards than researching a science àssignment? Besides which, when I'm on the computer at work, I always have either the Ober messageboards or LiveJournal open in the background...

How terrible of everyone's schools to go about blocking messageboards. A pox on them all. You might be interested to know that staff at schools don't have it any easier. We're still affected by stupid censors, even though we're supposed to be all mature and able to deal with things. One day, I thought they'd blocked LiveJournal (I used to live there at one stage) and I almost fainted clear away from shock. What were they expecting me to do? Work?? Thank the almighty cheese on toast for internet at home, I say.

hehe....I agree with Buneater. It's perfectly possibel to be doing two or three things at once. At the moment I'm writing an essay/review, while cruising around here. Of ocurse it would probably get done quicker if I focused entirely on the essay, but that's not half as fun.
