Yeah I agree. When people are mean to you, just smile!! (in a nice way) If people want to act immature its their problem. Anyway, today I thought I would have to write a big long rant on the unfairness of our science department. We got our exams back today, and considering everyone in other classes got C's or D's I thought I would be getting the same. But it was my lucky day, I got an A+!! So I won't be saying stuff about how hard our tests are now.

Here's my rant! First off, I'm not allowed to catch the train to Warrnambool to see The Living End. They're my favourite band and my friends and i promised that we would go to all their concerts  I suppose its fair though, cos its 4 hours away  But i dont think I can go to the Sounds Like Chicken show either  Oh, then i had exams today and im certain that i faileds my english one Actually did alright with my chem one though  I was expecting it to be the other way around. Teachers are going to be shocked.... And the music teacher at school is being an absolute b***h by not letting my band practise. We're meant to be performing next week, and we only get about 30 minutes a week to practise, and she wont even let us use the good guitars!  And the old bass Im using has a completely different length and fret pattern to that of the new one, so when i play at the concert, im going struggle with it And we're meant to be singing too, but she wont let us use the microphones, and she wont give us any useful pointers on how to sing We're going to look like idiots Oooh, and dont get me started on not being able to sing our own songs! The teachers at my school seem to think that Green Day is the only freaking punk band in existance! waaaah! |

I have to get up, and sing my heart out whilst playing an instrument. And doing two different things as once is not as easy as it appears to be :S Oh, and to top it of, we have six school days til the assembly and the music teachers says that we can only use the microphones for the first time, right before the assembly starts! *runs around screaming* Yeah, its kinda obvious that I'm in a band. I play electric, bass, drums, and a bit of violin and trumpet. There are three of us and we all play guitar and drums, so we swap around  I think we're entering battle of the bands soon, though God knows why Are you crazy?! |

ok i'm a bit spoilt. i'm used to having guys i want when i want, im used to getting guys to do what i want them to, even in front of chris, i've never had much trouble getting a job in the past but noone will employ me now. i've got a bloody degree and suddenly noone wants me anymore! i cant deal with rejection!!!!!

I thought the same last year - when half my bonus was taken for tax. My tax returns have always been really good. Until last year - I earned over a certain amount, and the government accredited my tax return to my HECS debt...yes, even though I don't have a degree, that year and a half at uni's going to be hanging over my head for the next few hundred years... So last years tax return - I had to PAY $40. |
