A Meet in Canberra...

Here's the deal:

The Nameless Wanderer was shocked to discover that her home town has other Misfits living in it! I know of at LEAST 6 Canberran Misfits from Ober.net.

And some Sydney peeps have said they wouldn't mind coming down for a meet.

People in Wagga Wagga, Woolongong, Golbourne (sp? mental blank), Queanbeyan, Bateman's Bay or any of the other many places not too far away might want to come too.

We are, as you know, the Bush Capital (hence half of the town burning to a crisp), but we also have a lot of parks and pretty lawny bits in the inner city (*snort* City!), so I thought maybe we could meet up and picnic or something like that! It'd be a great way to meet each other, and if it's during Moonfair, then we can even hold a contest of some kind, maybe.

What do ya'll think?
Who would be interested in coming?
Would September be okay for the Out-of-towners
I have some thoughts on location, but are there any Canberrans with ideas?
Any thing else you want to say?

well us syd people would have to go to great efforts to get down. we'd porlly have to book a hotle or soemthing, so it would have to be planned way ahead, or at the last minute. either way tis going to be hard to get a lot of people to go

I may be able to bum a lift down with my best friends boyfriend. My friend goes to Canberrs uni, and I've been promising to go down to see her. If not, I could always drive down if I had the time. I'd be coming from Wollongong, so it's not that far.

I'm not promising anything, but if the oppertunity arises, I may come down.
