well, there's not too much evidence, but..you know, when Dames decides to stay in Sador and Rushton says somehting like "i know why"..well, i think a lot of people came to the conclusion then that dameon was staying in Sador so he wouldn't be hurt by Elspeth and Rushton's love...and there are other small things i guess..like the way he talks to her, and when he felt her face when he was about to stay in Sador, how his hands trembled..
