I'm a bit new to this, but I had no idea Dameon even loved Elspeth in that way! I thought he was jsut a friend. So I think I'll have to say I like Rushton better. Looks like I'll incur the wrath or some people though!!!!

However, I will try and make you see the light!!!
If you didn't know Dameon loved Elf, you should read Ashling again. There are some specific page references I can check for you, if you like.
There's also the odd place in TKP that makes it obvious, but it's Ashling that REALLY proves it.
It's okay. I figured it out, but a lot of people needed to be told by IC that Dames loved Elf. It seemed obvious to me, but I guess maybe my mind works that way!

Oh and yeah IC said in an interview a little while ago that Dameon is in love with elf, you can tell, especially in Ashling, like when he puts up that emotional barrier..... and why he wanted to stay in Sador after Rushton and elf finally got together.

ok first has everyone forgotten what matthew said just before he was taken by slavers, his last words to elf were "i love you"
i have to say that while dameon is georgous he is far too emotionally fragile for elf, actually what about kella and dameon.
elf will end up with rushton, but why cant it be brydda. actually no wait, i want him, mmmmmmm those hugs.
dameons love for elf however is very true, which is why he stays in sador, so he can adjust to the idea without making elf uncomfortable.
btw kayt sweetie, no where is rushton jealously posessive, hes overprotective, i wont deny, but not jealously posessive. and yes i will agree that there will be issues when elf leaves for the quest, i just hope that maryon has a futuretelling involving elf leaving for the good of humanity to make it so he lets her go. but no matter who shes with, except maybe swallow, that would happen. how would you feel if the love of your life said "bye honey, just heading off on a quest to destory some nuclear weapons, be back soon"? i know id be pretty darn upset and try to stop them

Aha!!!
Okay a few points:
1. No one bags out Damo because he's so spiffing, and there is really nothing to hate!
2. PAH!!! Jess, honey, I love you very much but you are deluded. RUSHTON IS JEALOUS AND POSSESIVE!!! Must find the page references for ya'll. He's is SO possesive! Words cannot express the possesiveness!
3. Yay! I'm not the only Brydda fan!!! *swoon swoon*
4. Dameon is NOT emotionally fragile. He is extremely in touch with his emotions. If anyone is emotionally fragile it's Rushton with his angsty broodingness!!!
5. Elf and Damo are meant to be. End of story!

brydda is mine, you can have dameon but i want brydda!!!!! hes so georgous and strong, physically and emotionally, he thinks things though even when he is totally torn up over idris' death. why cant he be real?
kayt find me the references and ill see what i think, i dont remember him being anything other than extremely overprotective though

i agree! wheres the proof? hes overprotective (well you would be wouldn't you?) but hes not jealously possesive! and i love brydda too! but you guys can have him. i want swallow and rushton! does anyone agree, i think he would look like johnny in pirates? EXACTLY!!! maybe hes not the perfect guy, but nobody else would work!!!!!! his personality suits her far more than dameons does!!!! can you actually imagine them as a couple? i really cant. i dont know why, coz damo is really nice, but he's so just a friend! rushton is the love interest!!!!!!!!

yes tis true...she can be a bit, but remeber she was saying she had to kind of freeze herself in case she fell apart???? coz she is emotional, jsut on the inside more than the outside. which is why rushton suits her coz htey both choose to put on a bit of a wall and only confide in a few people, for instance, each other!!!!
