OMG, I HATE it when people play Pin the Punctuation on the Sentence! I do most of the proof-reading in my class and it's SOOO annoying!!
I'm going to stop ranting now....

oooh yar... have you read 'Eats, shoots and leaves'? my step-sis is an editor and she is very punctilious about punctuation... she said it was the most fun grammar she's read apparently it's sold quite well, too, at book stores. *cheers* the gospel of the semi-colon is being spread to the masses!

Ah, I've found my people! All my uni friends come to me to get their stuff proof read for grammar and punctuation (and quite often sentences that just don't make sense). Even though my typing here is terrible, I'm always correcting everybody's stuff usually. Whenever my best friend hands me her writing to read she always adds a pen, 'cause she knows I'm gonna correct it anyway. *Just for Kayt, I edited to fix my mbt. Just this once, you understand.....

oooh yar... have you read 'Eats, shoots and leaves'? I desperately want to read that book! A little while ago, I read an excerpt of it on the website and I was laughing before I was even half a paragraph in. I took the punctuation quiz, too... and received one hundred percent, despite panicking several times over making a decision.

its actually hard for me not to link many lines into one sentence using commas and conjunctions when ever i start a story Hehe - that's fine. That's pretty much how Jane Austen writes. Sometimes, you'll start a paragraph and by the time you get to the end of it, you'll have forgotten what it was actually about. And did I mention that the paragraph is usually an enormous, extended sentence?

Eats, shoots and leaves is so good. I borrowed it from work when it was released. There's jsut been a parody released of it. It's called "Eats, sh!tes and leave: A guide to horrible English" (or somethign liek that. I forget now.) It looks really good too.

Yes, good eater of Bunne, I noticed that about Jane Austen as well. Might I point out while we're on the topic that Mr Darcy is the best? No? Oh well! *shakes fist at all non-Mr Darcy-people* and while we're on the topic of Mr Darcy being the best, Dameon and Faramir are also very spiffy.

Ah, Brydie!!!
Dameon, Faramir and Mr. Darcy! We are truly kindred spirits.
Also, you're writing in yellow! Are you chamorphing or have you decided to adopt a colour? I'll happily share with you, since we've already got so much in common!!
