Hello All,
Long time no hear, eh! Hope you are all well!
Just some news...
The other day I visited the Dymocks bookstore in Civic, Canberra, and thier computer said that The Sending will be coming out in October 2005.
I also asked about Darkbane, but thier computer had no record of it.
Anyway, happy New Year!!!

Wilderbeast! How are you? How were your travels to the Land of Doorknobs? I'd go on, but my cat is lying on my left hand and I can't type quite as quickly with just my right hand...
We're certainly all hoping that The Sending will come out this year, but most of us fear we will have to wait until October next year.
Whenever it comes out, I just hope Isobelle invites us all to the launch because it will be HUUUUUGE. ;D

And if we are invited, we hope the parents will let us go... But for a book launch they might... I hope... I'll just have to get Dad to read the books and then he might possible want to go.

hehe I'll definitely be allowed to go  I can't wait, thats great news, imagine if it were this year, but months away. Lol good year for books! HP is coming out, and the sequel to Eragon is being edited as we speak.. and The Sending... gosh I hope we're all invited  Can we go even if we're not? |

Guys - we're going!! lol. I wrote Isobelle a while back telling her about our Sending plans (the massive meet, not the name change, for you Sneding fans) and she replied that it sounds like a great idea, and she'll be sure to make the Sending launch something spectacular, just for us!! Huzzuh!!!  though I wonder if she remembers writing that...? I hope she does. Wilderbeast!! I remember thou! |

i should start saving for it, but i owe my sister about $700 and im still paying off a centrelink loan. on the other hand if it comes out this year ill get my mum to pay me back what she owes me then, otherwise ill have plenty of time to save, right.
actually i just had this awesome idea, all us obernetters try and stay at the same place, well all of us who are travelling anyway. theres a youth hostel in the city that a few of my friends stayed at a while, and it was reasonably priced. and with that many of us staying there they might even cut us a good deal. however we have to make sure its coming out first...
that would be the biggest let down, to book everything and stuff and then have the launch cancelled

I wouldn't worry too much about money, it won't cost us that much if a lot of us make an effort to go.
I was thinking of hiring a mini bus for the occasion...then picking up people on the trip down the east coast...? Can you imagine how crazy the trip down would be?!
