Loved R&J. Loved Moulin Rouge. Loved Strictly Ballroom. I love all Baz Luhrman's stuff. Anyone else notice the CocaCola sign from Strictly Ballroom also features in Moulin Rouge and R&J except it says L'amore instead??? Cry in Moulin Rouge and R&J everytime I watch them.

And HP, yeah they are great books and the third movie's great but they are a bit hyped up.

You know I've wondered what the deal is with the L'amore sign in both those movies (Moulin & R&J) for the longest time...I thought maybe it was an inside joke. Anyone know why it's there and what it means?

I LOOOVE Baz Lurhman!! his movies are such incredible rides and so romantic.

I actedin ROmeo and JUliet, so we watched his movie as a cast, ohhhhh!!!! and i studies it in yr9 as well as reading the play *sigh*

Maybe he just really wanted to use the sign again. It's sort of his trademark now I guess. And CocaCola would be a little out of place in R&J and Moulin Rouge

I almost murdered my best friend when he attempted to say Baz sucked. I love his movies! I love the way he incorperates popular society in an older story =)

I decided to forgive my friend after he also said Ewan was not hot and couldn't sing. Clearly he was on crazy pills at the time, for it is impossible that three such mistakes could have been made.

Arghh this thread is moving as fast as the old theories board. On the signs thing maybe it was a trade mark but in one movie about theses guys in the desert mind it it wasset quite awhile back. whine showing them treking in the distance they were wearing tennies. maybe it was just like that.

Read my post confsing oh well for those of you with time can decipher it!
