nope nope nope... definitely the sending. I mean, if the legendsong stuff is so awesome then why is this a community devoted to Obernewtyn and not the legendsong? obviously the former has touched more people... Go the sending. I have been waiting for a resolution to the obes tale for so long! ten years ago I wrote a postcard to IC begging her to hurry up! 10 years ago I tell you! I thought I would be too grown up to appreciate it by the time she finally publishes it!
(Glad to see that's not going to happen any time soon - am still as besotted with the series as the day I first started it)
but you know what, I also kinda like the suspense. I mean, do I really want to know the outcome? It's sorta nice being stuck in limbo. YOu can speculate any whichway you choose and there's no nasty final book to tell you you're wrong. I mean, all those people who think Elf's off to the moon are going to be so disappointed when the sending comes out and elf is still feet firmly on the ground. No more dreaming. Finished.
So why don't we revel in the suspense a bit more? Ignorance at least gives you scope for creativity...
