Legendsong, although the younger series, is definately the best. Plus, I can read them in a day or too - unlike the OC which I will have to re-read when the Sending comes out, and that'l take me forever, and you lot will all have finished the Sending by then and I'll beleft behind and you'll give the ending away....
See, Darkbane has to be first, for the sake of my mental well being!

i want to read the sending, but i also want to find out about darkbane as well. I think i want them both at the exact same time! (which i know will never happen!)
and THEN after obernewtyn is done - we wait for the beforetime trilogy hey? lol

Beforetime Trilogy... *quotes from Kiato* muchly goodness. But IC, it'd be worse than suicide, starting another series before you finish the others. I prophesy that if IC starts the Beforetime trilogy before finishing the others, she'll have an angry mob of angry supporters knocking at her door with flaming brands and pitchforks. (I have waaaay too much imagination)
But I think the decision stands....

Well, no, the poll still says The Sending is leading by several miles. Fifty-nine percent! Huzzah! On a serious note: first, there was the OC, then there was Legendsong, now there's Billy Thunder: three series, all without the final book. Can anyone see a pattern here? Is Isobelle going to write the final book in at least ONE of these series, or am I going to have to take up gnawing on nearby table legs out of frustration? P.S. Argh! P.P.S. Oh, look - a table leg... |

*look up from her work* i think we're in the same boat buneater...ive got this horrid feeling IC will write/start another series before finishing off ANY of the 3 u mentioned! i just cant see her finishing it! OR if she does bring out the sending it will be wit the news 'Sorry the sending, which was ment to be the last book, isnt any more becuase it was too darn big! i couldnt fit everything into it...so there is still one more to come.' ...or somethin along those lines...shes jsut so frustratig! plues i want this launch to happen!
ooo and HOD! ur excuse to 'forgetting' SO and timm as they are AOCers but u can only do it this once! ok!!!

I finally figured the difference between here and Carmody online. On carmody online people have rational discussions and you CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT.
On site you have to wonder if people speak english.

*reminds everyone that IC needs to concentrate on the sending so no angry mobs with torch and pitchforks please and coats all table legs with chocolate to make them more edible* but isnt angel fever part of a series as well, i just cant remember the name of the series thats all. which brings the total up to 4 unfinished series, all unrelated to one another. i agree something needs to be finished though the longer she waits the more readers there will be, but that doesnt mean she has to drive loyal readers to gnawing on tables |

*sighs* nah, i can understand why its taking her so long to get these books out. my guess is its because she doesn't want it to be over, and so she's trying to delay the moment when she's finished and there will be nothing more to write about her beloved characters. that's how i would feel if i wrote a mammoth story like the oc. i dont mean she's doing it consciously though - she's just procrastinating and finding it really hard to write when inside she doesn't want it to end. thats what i reckon anyway.
