hehehe...they're out at the moment are they? I saw one the other night, it was soooo cute! Yes it looked like a giant rat too...aren't they the endangered ringtail possums though? I had Paul & his parents hissing at it, and I was like 'this isn't NZ, they aren't pests here!!'
...are they?

*Gets funny image from Min's post too.* lol, possums are great. I was staying in a caravan park ages ago, and these two possums decided to wage world war three on our roof. We ended up outside in the cold, watching these two (we assume male) possums try to kill each other. Twas quite funny.

When i went to NZ earlier in the year, mum got a possum fur hat and gloves. I was like "You meanie!" My Uncle's job in Nz is to go round to also sorts of places killing possums.  |

lol ask lucy what time i was really up to thanks for keeping me company!!! i was finishing off an assignment, im in this pahse at the moment where i cant sleep til ive solved whatever problem i have. its iritating because i havent had a decent sleep in ages! |

there's a possum stuck up the top of a balcony at our school. its been there for like two weeks now, and it hasn't moved. poor thing:(

yes, that possum on our balcony is soo cute  but poor thing, it doesnt have much shelter  my friends cat found two baby ringtail possums and took them into her house. nad she said they clung to eachother when they were put together awww. i seems that they are siblings  |

lol! We used to get possums in out school library windows. Our library was like, three stories, and the very top was a senior study area. The windows had like a grating over them, and the possums used to get behind the grating and sit on the window sill, watching us study. Twas quite funny to look up and find a possum watching you.

I have a disgusting window and vermin-related story. My study used to have a really high window and I was trying unsuccessfully to shut it one day. No matter what I tried, it refused to shut. So I grabbed a chair and stood up on it to see if there was anything stuck on the window sill outside. There was... It was a dead rat. |

*rolls around laughing* sorry, i havt been on this board in a couple of days, and when i saw "a big friggan possum", i nearly fell off my chair ;D vc6tr654 oops, i started laughing again and put my head on the keyboard  i love your rat story Buneater  eergh, when i lived in the country, we had a few mice around. Once on a cold day, i opened the linen closet to get a blanket, and there was a mouse squished between them  |
