Let's see...
My girl - no, they never show any actual grief except when the boy dies but he's only young
Ever After - the dad dies at the start from a heart attack or something and the girl is pretty damn upset...
If they'd made a movie of Seven Little Australians I'd recommend that, it's always so sad when Judy dies!! But Mufasa and Beth are good ideas.

I don't cry in movies... My Mum cried the first time she saw Titanic I think though... I get very sad sometimes in books though. When Judy dies in Seven Little Australians, that's tragic. And when I was little I used to get scared of the dark bit of Beauty and the Beast... Cat

That movie BUTCHERED the book!!!
I wouldn't complain, except the book was a childhood fave and I hate to see it mutilated!

I've only ever seen it as a movie. I saw it when I was little and it was released (And we dragged my brother along, mwahahahahahaha) and then again... erm... i think we saw it at school... Yeah, in drama in year 7? 8? I dunno, it wasn't this year...

Oh yes, 7 little Australians is soo sad. The presentation was sooo good. I think it may have been one of the best i have done So i went to the video shop to borrow out the videos (the uni tutorial classrooms don't support DVD's) and nd me cuing the videos. Life as a house - fast forwarded to almost the end, and it was soo good, when the boy gets told his father is going to die. So can i thank you all again for your suggestions and recommendations, it's a shame the video store couldn't live up to our needs! i only hope my next presentation is as good. its on disabled people - how can we hope to achieve world peace and acceptance of all, if we can't even accept our disabled people. The plan is to allocate all people in the room with a disability. 10 can't talk, i have 10 blindfolds, 10 pairs of ear plugs, and 10 ribbons to tie hands behind backs! I think it will be very interesting...
