Greetings Obernet!
This announcement is to let you know that we're bringing back the Christmas banner comp this year. If you are interested in designing an Obernewtyn.net banner with a Christmassy theme to be displayed on the site, read on!
Specifications:
~ must be 780 px wide
~ no higher than 200 px
~ must be a .jpg or .gif or .png
~ must have "Obernewtyn.net" somewhere on it
~ PM to Elspeth (pm: admin) no later than the 15th December
The MoOs - Avra, Clare, Emerald and Min - will be judging the best three banners, and all three will be available from the profile banner selection option once the winners are released.
The three banner winners will receive 5 points each to be added to their guild's total. If you aren't a member of a guild, but would like to enter anyway, you can nominate a guild to give winnings to.
There's no participation entry points, because we only want entries from people who seriously want their art on the website, not point harvesters.
Any questions? Ask here. Otherwise, get drawing, painting, photographing, and google image searching!

According to photoshop, 27.52 x 7.06 cm, but that'll depend on your resolution...

ho hum. I so made a banner... but was grumpy and couldnt be bothered to send it in. Whoops. Im sure the ones you got are real great though.
Im not very christmas spirity this year though... mum asked me when we were getting a christmas tree. We still havent got one. Its the 19th... hmph. I dont want one anyway...
