Tamora Pierce. I only like her series which are set in Tortall, wasn't fond of her other books, wherease Isobelle Carmody's an all-rounder. I like how Tamora Pierce's books kinda has generations... if you read them in the right order

Also, Cate Tiernan. Okay, IC makes you think... and Cate Tiernan (I admit) is a pretty dodgey author... but her Sweep/Wicca series is great!!! lol, SO entertatining.... I want to marry Hunter!!!

Ugh. I hate fictional characters!!! They're always so good, you know?
