I must be honest, I am thoroughly unexcited. I fell asleep in the last movie. Go the books, all the way! I hate that Radcliffe(?) boy! What an annoyance! And what's the deal with moving to a new forum? It takes ever so much longer to load. And can't the weirdos still post here anyway?

I've got the slowest dial up connection in the world (so it feels) and it doesn't seem to be taking all that long... Weirdos can still post, but we can delete them.

I'm going tomorrow, and dressing as much like a Slytherin as I can manage. It's amusing really, as I didn't like the other movies as much, and I'm not as big a fan of the books as some. Seriously, there's stuff out there that is so much better! Yes, I know I'm preaching to the converted, well the wide readers anyway.
I got really into some fanfic the other day, which is also a bit out of character for me. I couldn't tear myself away from the computer.

And I know what you mean about the ads...I've been trying to avoid them. I had to watch David Thewlis on Rove the other day I'm happy he's playing Lupin now. Can't WAIT to see it. Radcliffe's grown on me too, he'd grown more into the role by Chamber of Secrets. Can't wait to see Hermione punch Draco's lights out ;D

I so can't wait to see it either! The third one is by far the best book, and if they screw it up, so help me god, I will hunt them down and kill them! They had better not ruin it!
Hehe, yeah, I wanna see Hermione (sp?) punch Malfoy too! It's gonna be great!
*Is all excited just thinking about it*

[glow=red,2,300]TWAS BRILLIANT!!!!!!!![/glow] No Lol, I'm not going to the Broadway 9pm showing. I went to the Broadway 3pm showing. We only decided to go yesterday and all the evening sessions were sold out. But it was good cause the theatre wasn't full cause school wasn't out yet. There were some kids but mostly adults. [glow=red,2,300]OH! I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!![/glow] Squarmi

*cough* seen it It's crazy, it has been out in the cinemas here for a week and there are still massive lines for every day session. Anyway, it is very different from the other two, but you were kind of expecting that. Lupin on the other hand, was just as I imagined him (which was surprising) in his appearance, nature and mannerisms if not the face. Lupin-as-warewolf is pretty good too, I'm far less than happy with some parts of it, but I'll hold off ranting until more people have seen it. Hurry up dammit!

ok my first ever posted message with my nice new login name, it feels so strange, makes it seem like im a newbie all over again :S Yeah anyway I went to see Hp today, my friend and i have a tradition, we take the day off school and see the first session out. Have to say I was a little disappointed, but that's coming from a total HP freak, who knows everything, and I want the movies to be *truer* to the books. There were so many things missed out, it was so brief! I think if you havent read the books, then you'll think the book is stupid, and probably wont understand the movie in the way that others would... There were some really meant to be emotional scenes in the book, that were brushed over and took about 2 minutes to cover in the film... very disappointed, but i have to say, ron is getting hot! yeah hes great.... so funny talisha

Hehe - welcome! I think we're all newbies again, really, so don't feel left out. I just wanted to say that it's probably a good thing they didn't stay too true to the book - otherwise, you might have been in there for six hours! But I can understand how a dedicated fan can feel left out. I could bore you about the scene with the ships in Return of the King, but I won't, because you seem nice.
I'll probably be seeing PoA on Tuesday. Hope it's an improvement on the other two...
