fortunately, they travelled to the planet of 'stuff of the forgotten' and were able to visit their archives to find out what it was (hey, I think that was my first fortunately (for anyone who cares )

Fortunately the sun was hot enough to cook the sharks, and baking sharkmeat is a pleasant smell.
