Yeah I know...I wonder when they'll discover it...it's frustrating having theories that work in one instance yet contradict each other when looked at together. Makes me think we're not going down the right path explaining anything yet...

Well, with any luck, the LHC here at CERN should go some way to confirming a couple of big questions (how do particles have mass, is supersymmetry real, what actually happens when you smash protons together with 14TeV of energy... as well as other more mundane things only of interest to particle physicists, like the exact masses of particles you rarely actually get occuring in nature - that's what I work on!)
