EDIT These rules are an edited version of the original rules that i posted. They are clearer, faster and more fun game play.
This game was adapted from a tv show. See also, the Lyrics board/song guessing game with teams.
RULES
#1#Someone is on. She is know as the board master(BM)
#2#She(BM) thinks up a line from a song.
#3#She(BM) posts the number of words in it.
#4#Someone picks number between one and the number of words in the line from a song.
#5#She(BM) posts the word from the song line that corresponds with that number, i.e. if the line had 5 words and
the number three was picked then she(BM) would post the third word of the song's line. It's only the number posted by the first person to post a number that counts.
#6#People then sing some lines of a song which has the word in those lines, unless its a skip. More on skips later.
#7#The first person to do so picks a number that hasn't been picked yet.
#8#Then, as before, she(BM) posts what the word is.
#9#People sing song lyrics with that word.
#10#After each time a player songs lines from a song after a word is revealed, she may also guess the title of the song. If she guesses correctly she wins.
#11#A skip is a word that would be very easy to think of a song for. Words like "the", "a" and "and". It's up to the BM(the person who's on) to decide whats a skip.
#12#When she announces how many words are in the song she(BM) also says how many of those words are skips.
#13#If a player chooses a word and its a skip, then no-one sings song lyrics for that word. Instead, people pick numbers
as before.
#14#If all the words are revealed. People keep guessing, without posting song lyrics. A player can't guess it twice in a row (just after all the words have been revealed) unless no-one else is playing.
#15#Whoever wins is on for the next round.
#16#She(BM) may also give hints, or ask a bonus question which has something to do with the song or the band singing it. Thats up to her if she wants to or not.
