I have no idea what I got, sorry I haven't updated anything, I've been babysitting for the last three orfour days and the computer here is sooooo slooooooow plus it's in a really cold room, I can't be bothered waiting. Darn it, Bulldogs - couldn't you have played a bit better?  I knew it was wishful tipping to go against Collingwood when they're playing so well. BUT I DON'T LIKE COLLINGWOOD (OR ESSENDON)! Actually, one of the commentators was saying that most people who didn't barrack for Collingwood hated them. That seems to be true. I wonder why. |

Did anyone watch the Kangaroos game and see the coach having a disagreement with a fan? Did you hear what happened after? Might not have even been related to the incident at the game, but horrible still. He might not be coaching this week because of it.

Yes, I heard something about it. How did the fan die afterwards? It certainly can't have been directly related. I am currently playing AFL Live 2004, which I "borrowed" from my brother, who "borrowed" it from someone else. It's a lot of fun, except that I have to keep on switching the players before each match so that the team looks more like the Hawks of today. My first game was against the Kangaroos, and when I kicked the ball into my attacking 50, I heard "Thompson takes the mark". I thought - "oh damn it!" and then realised that he was still a Hawk in 2003! |

He took his own life after the match, the coach (I'll remember his name one day) is really broken up about it.

How amazing was that game! I'm still on a high! The Bombers fans have all crawled back into their holes after tonights game so there isnt even anyone to brag to! Except the guy I had to pay in the car park this morning, he asked how the game went (he was a bombers fan), I told him the general gist and his responce made my night ;D Except perhaps the bit where he refused to give me back my carpark ticket :S I needed that to get out, lol. Although I would have willingly stayed there for hours talking about the match Great match. Congrats to Mcleod on his 250th, that'll be one to remember! |

Oh well, the Hawks did a lot better than people seemed to think they would. I can't really complain - we had some opportunities and missed them. Either way, we've proved that we can potentially win without some of our big guns, so that's a good start. |
