Huzzah indeed good Bunne!
*twists, shouts and gavottes* But condolences to Bob because he's pretty cool too.
After thought - because of course Bob's sitting halfway around the world at this very moment bemoaning his demise in the prestigious Obernet Musical Point Game. ;D

I know, poor thing, we've probably broken his heart! Mozart isn't even alive anymore, he can't cherish it like Dylan can! One day he'll make a press release: "To all my fans, I have been performing, writing and recording music for over 40 years now, and have decided that I will now retire, it has become clear that those at Obernet don't like me and.... *sobs*......I just.......*sniff sniff* can't go on....... if any...... I'm sorry........ I..... just.........can't go.........can't *sobs some more* ....... go on any more! *runs from the room*" LOOK WHAT YOU PEOPLE HAVE DONE!!!

Ooh, you make a good point. But surely the despair of the deceased could be much worse. I mean, if Mozart hadn't won, his ghost would have been so upset at the lack of recognition that he might have HAUNTED ALL MUSICIANS FOREVER. (Because, you know, he's dead so he could keep it up for a loooong time) And all that moaning and screeching and bansheeing (in harmony of course) would have drowned out each musicians own distinct musical styling so that there would be no music. NO MUSIC. Really, we've done the world a great service here. ;D
*pats self on back* /melodrama. And besides, Dylan has heaps of acclaim and affirmation for his body of work. Mozart had nothing. He died in poverty. Le sniff.
Also, he had a PUFFY WIG. If that doesn't just scream bodacious tunes, then I don't know what does. Once again, PUFFY WIG!

You voted for him because he had a puffy wig?!? Bob Dylan has his own NATURAL puffy hair!

But can he take it on and off and make it do a little dance by using potatoes on forks as legs?
Therein lies the question.
Besides, I like The Marriage of Figaro and the Requiem. And he could compose anything and everything, talk about overachiever! His name's pretty sextastic too: Johann Chrysostom Wolfgang Theophilus Mozart. PHWOAR!

Alright, I can see I'm not going to win this debate, why then Galli, did you spend a lot of time voting FOR Bob Dylan?

Because I wanted to see him get to the final 3 at least. And I liked him way better than a few of the other choices. I sometimes even like him better than my own candidate, Bjork. I just wanted to see Mozart win more. ;D
Arrr! I be a ruthless mercenary!

Squirt, it doesn't matter how much you debate, no one has been brought back in this game Well except for when people exceeded post limits but yeah...that's different! THE MUSICAL POINTS GAME HALL OF FAME! Winners: Queen The Cat Empire Mozart (yes, they're all better than Bob!) Runners up: Garbage Franz Ferdinand Bob Dylan (HAH!) Maybe after the next one, I'll do AllStars and give Bobby a second chance.
