Spells/Curses/Hexes/Charms

OK, I reckon, with the help of everyone here, that we can come up with a full list of all the spells/curses/hexes/charms that JK Rowling has put in the Harry Potter books. *

* this is as much an excersise to help me understand the gibberings of the incantations is the books (I have a very poor memory)

So, if everyone could put down the name of at least 1 spell/curse/hex/charm, its name (if possible), what it does, and the incantation that it requires.

I'll start....

The Patronus Charm
Expecto Patronum
Is a positive force that shields the conjuring wizard from Dementors.

Oh, and please feel free to correct me if I make a mistake! As I said, I have a very poor memory...Have fun!

Ironically, she uses the term enervate to wake someone up or to revive them from unconsciousness. Here is the dictionary term for enervate:

enervate - To weaken or destroy the strength or vitality of.

Just one of the things that annoys me about the whole Harry Potter thing.
